Weekly Class Times:
                           MONDAY: 6:15 p.m.
                           FRIDAY: 12:30 p.m.
                           SATURDAY: 9:00 a.m.

Classes are held every week and are Free for active patients. Non-patients are welcome as well. The first class is always free, and then $10 per class for all non-patients. We invite everyone to try a class and experience the benefits of yoga.


WHY YOGA?

The knowledge that yoga increases muscle flexibility, tones the body, and is an incredible tool to distress and relax is widespread. Yet, many do not realize other benefits that can drastically improve health and well being. Several studies have incorporated yoga into traditional treatment programs for common ailments with amazing results.

The basic principals of yoga’s deep breathing techniques allow the body to distribute more oxygen. The posture and controlled movements develop core muscle strength, improving posture and taking pressure off the musculoskeletal system.

Studies are confirming that with a proper program, yoga participants are drastically decreasing the need for pain medication as well as decreasing their over all pain level.

Yoga is not just for the young! Many older adults suffer from the fear of falling. By attending yoga classes regularly, seniors can increase mobility, balance and quality of life.

Yoga can help fend off eating disorders and problematic body image. Yoga increases body awareness and focuses on positive self acceptance more so than other mainstream aerobic exercise.

The health disciple of yoga does need to be monitored to ensure that proper techniques are followed. Some styles of yoga or postures are not suitable for those who suffer from certain musculoskeletal problems. Check with your chiropractor before beginning any program
