How We View Health
Wellness isn’t an end point, it’s a journey. It’s not a place you arrive then stop what you are doing. Rather, it’s a way of doing things, a mindset, and a decision that only you control.
Your current state of health may be due to years of neglecting your body’s needs; i.e. – improper diet (nutritional stresses / toxins), a trauma / accident or poor posture (structural stress), or un-managed emotional stress which has brought about physical symptoms. Your vital energy (healing ability) is a direct extension and interaction of these factors. Our goal is to put you back in the driver’s seat and in control of your health. We know how much you could be enjoying your life, so count on us to help you.
Our Three Step Approach to Wellness:
Our Three Step Approach to Wellness is designed to build optimal body function while we teach and provide you with the tools necessary to become independent and self reliant on your health journey. Because health is a lifelong process, we are available to teach, guide, evaluate, and maintain your progress through all three steps of our wellness approach.
Step 1
Goal: To alleviate immediate symptoms (pain, inability to perform daily activities, fatigue, etc.) by beginning to restore optimal function to your body. Before anything else, we begin by improving and maximizing the foundation of your health. Without these essential building blocks functioning properly, further improvement and wellness cannot be achieved or maintained.
Step 2
Goal: To rehabilitate and strengthen the body by continuing to restore and stabilize optimal body function. In Step 1, we address your immediate symptoms. In Step 2, we go further to begin to heal the core reason(s) why the symptoms occurred. During this step, you will become actively involved in rehabilitating the foundation
of your health.
Step 3
Goal: To maintain optimal health through continued evaluation with a flexible and adaptive course of action. As we grow older, our body changes, our lifestyle changes, and our health needs change. Therefore, maintaining wellness requires us to change our health recommendations over time. You’ll really shine in Step 3, because of the habits you have formed and the guidance you received in the first two steps. We could try to describe it to you, but it’s only something that can be experienced. When you arrive here, you’ll just know it.
