What is Bio-Electrical Impedence measurement

BioElectrical Impedence Measurement (BIM) measures the electrical conductivity between specific points on the body by creating a "circuit" and then measuring the flow of electricity between those points.  BIM devices have been consistantly used in medicine to non-invasively obtain important information.  Some of the morerecognizable device include EKG's and EEG's used to measure heart and brain function.  There is substantial scientic information supporting BIM testing.
